Mindful luxury is beating conspicuous luxury
The pattern across the upper half of the list is consistent: things that are made well, used often and quietly personal. Monogrammed leather, hand-thrown ceramics, slow-burning botanical candles and multi-part wellness kits are outperforming louder, more obviously expensive gifts.
The read is that senders are optimising for being remembered rather than for looking generous. A gift that gets used every morning does more relationship work than one that gets photographed once.
